Noho creative space

NoHo Creative Space developed by ARTITUDE — ZO Magazine — Ericco Studio

ARTITUDE’s Creative Space concepts started with predecessor organization Zamar Unlimited and collaborations with The International Arts Consortium and All Dressed Up International. The collective idea between these organizations was to bring together diverse audiences in an effort to encourage people to communicate, connect, and interact with others outside of their own groups to gain a deeper understanding of our broader connections.

We started the “Build a Better World through the Arts” program and projected to initiate and connect with other like-minded groups and to find at least one such collaborator in each city of the world. This lofty goal later translated to the platform ZO Magazine now uses and ARTITUDE functioned to support ZO through funding the global Art Expos that ZO initiated annually.

NOHO EVENTS

ARTITUDE’s collaborative launch of the NoHo Creative Space was scheduled for an “Open House” on March 22, 2020. One week prior to our meticulously detailed and expensive preparation, everything was ordered to shut down due to the worldwide Covid Pandemic. As the world faced unprecedented challenges, we  committed ourselves more than ever to our philosophy that “Creativity Can Change the World.”

Towards that goal, we continued development, pivoting to creative ideas that might work given the circumstances and uncertainties. We built our first Zoom Room and brainstormed on ways to connect with others. Working closely with ZO Magazine helped us both to continue the development of a structured  platform that could host a global interactive network of artists supporting other artists. ZO’s City Curator program was in perfect sync with our ideas, so we forged ahead in its development, as much as we could, allowing  artists, complementary businesses, or other creative entities to affiliate with one another in our conglomerate, creating a dynamic nexus of interaction. We all believed that this type of sponsorship would be our strongest connection to the worldwide arts community, connecting artists to Artitude and ZO and them to the creative community we were both building.

NoHo Creative Space is actually the third space we have developed with ZO and Ericco Studio. Prior to NoHo, we collaborated on a 3 year project located in Inglewood, CA named Crenshaw Arts Building (CAb). Check out more on CAb at this link.

Before CAb, a bit of synchronicity brought our three entities together for a unique Art Soireé in Glendale, CA. From the very beginning, we all had a certain creative flow that has been educational, positive, and quite inspiring. As we now collaborate with hundreds of artists and dozens of other art groups in more than 170 countries, we are expectant of a very creative future and hope to spread this to a world that could certainly use more hope.

NoHo was a truly unique location and gallery, so when some of our community suggested it would be great for wedding receptions and such, we crafted a quick shoot to visualize it . . .
